This company has two locations, one in Sint-Truiden and one in Merksem. Because there's no software available for reading VW marine engines on the scanners in Merksem, a repairer from Sint-Truiden has to come to Kempischedok in Antwerp. This means a mileage allowance of €96.00, or €99.84, and a travel time of 1 hour and 33 minutes at €79.50, or €105.74. So, by saving money on scanner software, the customer is paying for their stinginess!
It's a 15-minute drive from Merksem to Kempischedok!
A disgrace. I'm very satisfied with the technician's work, but the rest is a disgrace. If they had been warned that they had no choice but to come from Sint-Truiden, I would have had the option of forgoing their services. Now I'm noting it on the invoice.
