Gruelling fantastic service from BMW De Schepper. Came in without a booking with a failed alternator. Sorted me with a loan car and had everything completed before I could get back to them. Very highly recommend.

A deal is a deal ! Act 1. For a Premium Selection vehicle, things started off well: an appointment was quickly set for Friday evening for the following Monday; the vehicle was there, ready for a test drive; we discussed the vehicle and the potential trade-in of the old one and, most importantly, reached an agreement with the seller not to sell the vehicle before we received a trade-in offer. Except a week passed and we had to call the seller who had forgotten to send us the trade-in offer from a dealer (4000 euros). After some discussion, we miraculously raised it to 5000 euros. Then, no more news; we tried to reach the seller. In a meeting/in an appointment/on a test drive/with a client (choose one)... but he will call you back. Except when we finally got him on the phone... the vehicle had been sold to someone else. Sorry but a deal is a deal ! Act 2. We are not happy, the salesperson understands and apologizes. He will immediately start looking for another similar vehicle and get back to us within two days. Four months later, we are still waiting for a proposal. Sorry but a deal is a deal ! Finally, a competitor of the same brand, but in Maldeghem, reserved a vehicle for us (also Premium Selection), while we finished our vacation. The vehicle was ready for the test drive : "Of course, sir, we had an agreement and you are coming from far away !". A deal is a deal... And for the trade-in ! By the time we finished the test drive 20 minutes later, he gave us a dealer offer : "I’m sorry but I can’t do better than 8000 euros." Of course, as we have both respected the deal, we signed the same day.

My experience at BMW was so bad with the salesman that I almost hate this brand even though I love it. I felt like I'd been ripped off, he didn't give me all the information I needed to make a proper decision and, above all, he made things messy and dishonest. The delivery of the vehicle went very well because it was other people, but the buying process was a nightmare. If you come across this salesman, run away. I don't want to give his name, but he's a young Dutch speaker who can speak French. I end up with an unwanted vehicle, petrol, with no contract flexibility for 5 years!
