Terrible place; unfriendly, rude and 0% helpful.
This Christmas holidays we were driving from the Netherlands to Spain to visit family for the Christmas days, while our car broke down on the Belgian highway. We were brought to this garage with the assurance that they could help us here so we could continue our travel. Reality couldn't more different. While our car was being unloaded from the tow truck, I went inside to kindly ask whether a mechanic could have a look at our car. I was still wearing my yellow safety vest, but I assume nobody noticed as the receptionists didn't take their eyes of the screen while I was desperately asking for help. The receptionist, while seeming to not care at all about my story, sent me to another part of the garage, to ask there. Here I waited for minutes to then be sent back by a rude and angry person to the original receptionist... At this point it was 5pm. So again I desperately asked if someone could have a look at our car, that we are traveling to Spain and that now we are stranded here in the middle of Belgium. But the people here were clearly not in a Christmas mood. I was rudely told that they didn't have time to look at my car, that there are a lot of people still waiting behind me to have their car fixed, that they are now making appointments for in January and that just because I am travelling towards Spain doesn't make me a higher priority.
After again asking if they couldn't do anything for us I was further ignored. So I went back to our broken car trying to figure out what to do and not even 20 minutes after I tried to get someone to look at my car, all the lights turned off... So much for having a lot of people waiting behind me.
Luckily a garage across the street, De autospecialist, managed to fix our car that same evening. They worked overhours, offered drinks and a car to get some food and made us pay for less hours than actually spent. With other words, they were friendly, helpful and just great people, unlike the ones at IMACAR.

Very friendly staff; easy to make an appointment for major checkups and repairs, while freely available (no appointment needed) for minor issues.
